I have tried Gemini 3.8 tts with a personal app for reading aloud and couple of long audios and I can say it is as least as good as most audiobooks I listen too. Except those “full cast” done by professional actors, with added sound effects and music… But comparing it to a normal read-aloud audiobook, it is there.
