My reading along my live have moved from reading books to reading on the internet to now reading the output of the llms. The last one feels like the more engaging productive and interactive of all of them, even when I know that there is nobody behind those texts.

I don’t understant though those people that consider ther llms their “friends” or that they can talk to them like they talk to people as if they cared or had any real moral weight… When I talk to a person I know I have to follow a minimum social contract, different for each context and person but with some basics that stay because we are all people. With llms, I just want them to understand what I mean and to elicit the right response.
