It’s so difficult to find curious people interested in learning instead of just watching tv series or playing videogames or eating and drinking… If you find someone that reads and is curious about the world it is so dificult that they have your same interests… and more so in todays fragmented world and working remotely. I miss my discussions with Thies about the SOTA in NLP… Even at work everybody seems too worried about what they have in front of their face to worry about how it really work.
